I Heart Faces-Pet Week "Ours for only a short time"

We were so surprised to find out that a mother robin had chosen our yard for her nest!! It was so low to the ground and everything. A big dog, 3 noisy boys but she picked us.... I got so many photos of the eggs and babies. This one is by far my favorite. Each time they lifted their heads my boys giggled with delight. It was hard though when they left the nest. My oldest took it the worst. We hope that they ended up alright and that the mother comes back next year to bless us with her gift again!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge- "Beautiful Eyes" - Not baby blues...

Putting in my entry this week for "beautiful eyes".... I am entering this photo because it is a stunning photo. I have cropped it a little just to be able to see the eyes a little more. I am also excited because this photo is representing the non blue eyed beauties of the world. This young lady is very sweet. We had a great time taking photos and this one was just the best photo ever. We were laughing when we were taking these because her hair kept blowing in her face. The wind blew so perfectly when I got this shot and we laughed about that too since we thought it was like she was like high fashion model LOL.... Photos like this one is why I love being a photographer.

Littest Rebecca...... July 2011

Let me start by saying that she was born 3 weeks early. Her mom was a trooper though and made it to me for her photos within the "golden" first week after birth.... She even brought Rebecca's big brother Jack and her dad. Oh my was Jack so cute too!!! We all settled in for a power session and totally rocked all the shots! Dad did such a great job hanging out with the little big brother which let her mom and I take our time with the little miss. I even snagged a photo of the family outside! So happy to have met them and wish them well with the new baby. Now onto the photos LOL....

Islip Horse Show with my boys....

It was a long day but oh so worth it! We all had a great time. All 3 boys did the show at different levels. Liam was up first. He did 3 "classes" and finished 1st in two of them and did not place in the last one. I was BLOWN away by how well he did on his first horse show!!!! All that riding and hard work was validated by how much he loved it! He wants more shows now. Ughhhh way too expensive. Here are a few shots of Liam:

Up next was Declan the Deckie-man. Now he was showing on Lacey his favorite pony. He is lucky enough that Lacey's owner, Olivia, allows him to show her. She is the most beautiful little pony ever! Declan showed in 3 classes also and placed 2nd, 4th, and 5th. Amazing for a just turned 4 year old!!! He was definitely the youngest out there! It was hot and getting a little late but he was a champ!!! The guy in the green shirt is the trainer for all 3 boys. He rocks!  Here are his photos:

Last to go was Quinn. It was really late in the afternoon and sooooo hot. Again, Quinn, absolutely amazed me!!! It was NOT easy to get out there in that boiling afternoon sun in all that "gear" and then be the YOUNGEST in his group and compete. He also did 3 classes. He did not place the first one but OMG he got two 3rd places on the other 2 classes! This was also his first time showing. I was such a lucky mom to have such dedicated boys and Barry and I walked away from the day remembering how lucky we are to have such great kids. They had the best day ever! I did not get super photos of Quinn because Declan was melting down at this point and fell asleep while I was holding him and trying to take photos LOL.... Here are the few I got though:

Hope you all enjoy!
