Meeting Mr. Z....

There are a few things that photographers get giddy about... Babies with a lot of hair and Mr. Z. had it going on!!!! He also had the cutest dimple in his chin!!!!! It was a lucky day to have my job!!!! His mom and his grandmother brought him to the session and I must say I meet some of the nicest people. They were so amazing!!!! Mr. Z. was amazing at his session and I was able to get some super cute photos of him!!!! Ms. M..... Enjoy!!!

Little Ms. M. came for her newborn photos recently. She was just the sweetest little thing!! Her parents were amazing too!!! They sat back, watched TV, relaxed and let me do my job.... LOVE those sessions!!! They are in the same room just not right on top of the set-up where the photos are taken ;-)

I love that for a few reasons. The best one is then the parents are surprised with the photos since they really didn't watch every pose. I guarantee that it is hard to not watch right next to the baby the whole time... I also encourage the parents to relax as they feel comfortable doing. If you want to stand next to me the whole time, then do it.. It is your baby.... I do like when you get parents like Ms. M.'s though because I want your experience with me to be memorable as a great one!!!! Well enough words and let's get on with the photos!!!!! I decided to make a collage with some of my favorites instead of listing them separate. A little changing it up LOL....

Mr. B... 4 days old... Long Island Newborn Photographer - Mom2boyz Photography by Stacey Broggy

Well you never really know what baby you are getting for your session... I mean they are all adorable and cute but sometimes one just tries make himself the cutest... LOL Well Mr. B. sure did accomplish that!!!! You will see from his photos that he was just the cutest little mushy, smushy, little love...

He slept so good for me!!!!!!!! I LOVED his curly little hair!!!!! I loved his family that came. They were just the nicest family and laughed at my silly sense of humor jokes.... His 2 year old brother was just so handsome, even if he didn't want his photo taken AT ALL!!! I got a shot LOL... 

Here are some of the photos from this session... I had MANY and trying to narrow it down was tough!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I am sharing WAY to many :-)!!

Just the cutest little Mr. C.... Just 6 days old....

Mr. C arrived snug as a bug in his infant carrier.... I guess it was his "happy place." LOL Once mom and I took him out he was simply HUNGRY... and hungry.... and hungry.... Yes that makes the beginning of the session a bit difficult... Mom was so laid back (Thank you so very much mom!!!) and just kept feeding him, and yes, we waited... Waited for him to find his "NEW" happy place in my props ;-)   It may have taken a long time to get him to his new happy place, but the patience and calmness of the adults won.... He was finally asleep and happy enough to be photographed.... The session was a bit long but that is why I tell parents to come here and plan to sit tight because the babies are ALWAYS in charge. There is never a time that I want the babies to be unhappy so I will always wait until they are ready... With patience comes great rewards.... See for yourself!!!! Here are just a few of my favorites from his session...

Long Island Newborn Photography by Stacey Broggy - Nassau County Newborn Photographer - 21 day old Newborn Mr. K....

Introducing 21 day old Mr. K....

Mr. K's parents called me to set up an appointment. Originally they wanted him to be a month old but I had to break the bad news that I was leaving in a few days to go to Florida to see my family... VERY lucky for me they decided to push the session from him being a month old to him being 21 days old :-)... I had the pleasure of photographing this little Mister!!!! He was just so so so cute!!! He slept very well. I was not able to get any shots of him on his tummy though. He just would not do it... I always tell the parents that the babies control the session. I will not do any pose that they begin to fight me on. That does mean that I will try it and try to calm them down but if they will not calm, I stop the pose. It does make the variety of poses more limited during the session but you will see that I was still able to get PLENTY of beautiful photos... Here are just a few to see a sample of his gallery.... Long Island Newborn Photographer Mom2boyz Photography by Stacey Broggy - - Introducing Ms. M.... at 21 days old....

Doing my best with my blogging.. How is it possible I don't get them finished right away? Oh yes I remember now... I am a mom of 3, a newly working, 5 mornings a week,  part time teacher...... Next year only 3 mornings a week ;-) Enough said.. Oh wait and I am a photographer.. LOL.... Anyway my school year is over so now I should have no more excuses right??

Back to my blog... Well here are few shots from Ms. M's shoot. She was not a happy baby and her tummy was just acting all up... Mom was GREAT though. She stayed calm through the session and that helped me so much. Normally I work without the parents so they can sit back and relax but this session mom was right there to help keep her calm. LOL she liked mom's finger instead of the pacifier is the big reason she was such a help ;-)  Through our patience and NO rushing we were able to pull off the session. I pride myself on working with the baby and the baby's speed... If my sessions are too long for some photographers then well, I am different. I always let the baby control the speed of the session. A happy baby is always my goal. I also get a little extra cuddle time but who is counting hee hee.

Long Island Newborn Photographer Mom2boyz Photography by Stacey Broggy - Twin session!!!! - Mr. Aven and Ms. Neva...... 5 Days old

Last month I was one lucky person and I got to travel to Florida to photograph a set of twins. Now what made it even more lucky is they were my niece and nephew!!! I became an Aunt!! An Aunt of twins!!!! I never thought in a million years that was going to happen! I packed my bags, worried about them being too heavy, and headed down to meet them!! So normally a Long Island newborn photographer, with it's sometimes dreary days,  I wasn't worried about what kind of natural light there was going to be LOL... Sunny south FL did not disappoint... I am originally from there so I knew better. The best part about this session: It was the first time I have been able to actually kiss the babies I am taking photos of!!! It is so hard not to kiss the newborns and snuggle and smell them and cuddle LOL.... Well I do get to kind of cuddle them and I may just by accident take in a whiff of newborn baby smell on all my sessions..... How can any baby addict like myself NOT do that ;-) Nothing like a newborn baby smell, just like puppy breath, who can resist???!!!! I was extremely lucky to have my mom helping me with the very long session!! I ended up delivering way to many photos to my brother and my sister-in-law but I picked a few of my favorites out for this collage to share with you... Enjoy these newborn twin photos!!!

Mr. A.'s newborn session... 

 This little cutie came to see me for photos and could not have been cuter!!! His mom and dad brought the collage mascot, since they met at the collage, to photograph him with. I did not include a photo because some things should just be private right?? LOL.... I try not to include "details" as best possible... So many other cute photos to choose from... This little guy will be back for his "sitting" session and can't wait to see him again!!! Enjoy his cute collage!!

Little Miss Gabrielle aka Cutest eyelashes

As a newborn photographer you are often getting to see your clients for the first time when they walk through your door for their session. It is not until you get to hold the baby that you get to see the details... Ahhhh the baby details so dainty and perfectly unique to each baby.. Ms. G. had the most adorable little eyelashes that slightly flipped out to the side. JUST simply the cutest of the cute. I love the details...

Got a call from Mr. L's mom about setting up a session. A bit older than the newborns I usually photograph but this little guy as cousins that I have photographed in the past so it had to be done no matter how old he was. He did not pose like a newborn but I was able to still capture some beautiful photos of him. He siblings even got to get a photo with their new little brother :-)...
